Dr Daud Yunus' journey began in 1993 as a medical graduate of the University of Queensland followed by achieving his fellowship in General Practice. He has completed an Advanced Certificate of Skin Cancer and is shortly to complete a Master of Medicine in Skin Cancer through the University of Queensland.
He is currently a Senior Lecturer at the University of Queensland and has been involved with the teaching and supervision of medical students and general practitioner registrars for over 20 years.
Skin care is an exciting area of growth in medical understanding, so Dr Yunus is enthusiastic in seeking opportunities for education and training to keep abreast of the latest knowledge.
With 27 years of experience as a general practitioner and 15 years sub-specialising in skin cancer, Dr Yunus has developed a deep understanding of the unique healthcare needs of our Queensland community. He has passionately pursued the skills required to provide excellence in skin cancer detection, prevention, treatment, and advice.
Dr Yunus has a special interest in skin cancer prevention and surgical and non-surgical treatment. He regularly performs both simple and complex procedures in the treatment of skin cancer including grafts and skin flaps on all areas of the skin.
Personally, he is married and the father of four grown children and has a wide range of interests including music, bicycle riding, fitness, and Information and Technology
