Dr Daud Yunus is an experienced General Practitioner with a special interest in skin cancer medicine. A graduate of the University of Queensland, he is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and has completed his Master of Medicine (Skin Cancer) through the University of Queensland. He is also an Accredited Skin Cancer Doctor with the Skin Cancer College Australasia.

Dr Daud has extensive experience in skin cancer medicine, with a particular interest in prevention, early detection and treatment. He offers both surgical and non-surgical treatment options and regularly performs a range of procedures, from straightforward excisions through to more complex skin flaps and grafts.

Alongside his clinical work, Dr Daud is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Queensland and has been involved in the teaching and supervision of medical students and GP registrars for more than 20 years. He continues to undertake professional development in skin cancer medicine, keeping up to date with advances in diagnosis, treatment and prevention.

Having practised medicine in Queensland for many years, Dr Daud values providing practical, considered advice and helping patients understand their skin health and the treatment options available to them.

Personally, he is married and the father of four adult children and has a wide range of interests including music, cycling, fitness, and information technology.

DVA White Card Holders

Dr Daud no longer accepts DVA White Cards for direct billing. White Card holders are still welcome to see Dr Daud; however, standard consultation and treatment fees will apply.

Following your appointment, we can provide a copy of the relevant clinical notes and paid invoice for you to submit directly to DVA for reimbursement consideration.
